WebSphere InterChange Server to WebSphere Process Server Migration

With the arrival of WebSphere Process Server (WPS) as the single integrated runtime for all SOA-based process automation, most customers with solutions on WBI heritage technologies like WebSphere MQ Workflow, WebSphere InterChange Server or WBI Server Foundation, have a next generation product on their roadmap. Customers, over time, may want to convert their solutions to WPS.

The first question customers using the WBI heritage products will have is “Why would I want to go through the trouble of migrating from, for example, WebSphere MQ Workflow (WMQWF) to WebSphere Process Server (WPS)?” There are a lot of reasons. Standard support for the IBM WebSphere InterChange Server (WICS), Version 4.2.2 or earlier, ended almost one year ago.
